A keeper reads Deribit, Hyperliquid and a centralised exchange, then writes the indices on-chain at most once every 15 seconds. The limits below are enforced by the contracts on Robinhood Chain testnet.
Every position's maximum profit is fixed when it opens. That amount is reserved from the pool up front, so a winning trade is always fully collateralised.
A settled price can move at most 20% of its previous level in one update. A larger jump is walked in over several updates, so a single bad print cannot swing positions.
When one side is crowded, new positions on that side pay an hourly fee into the pool. The fee grows with the square of the imbalance, so it stays near zero until the book is lopsided.
The oracle contract rejects any push that arrives within 15 seconds of the last one, and trading halts if the index is older than 30 minutes.
